Story
Extreme rainfall due to climate change and the Asani cyclone has left large parts of Sylhet, Bangladesh, flooded as river banks overflow. This has left many people stranded and vulnerable in their flooded homes, without access to food and clean drinking water. This is the worst flood in 18 years, with officials fearing the worst if rainfall continues to cause water levels to rise.
