Story
Each year, employees from Amazon, Microsoft, and other area companies raise funds for Washington's national parks by climbing Mount Rainier, Mount Shuksan (in the North Cascades), or Mount Olympus (in the Olympics). Through partnerships with world-class mountain guide services (International Mountain Guides and Alpine Ascents International), Climb for a Cause enables individuals to fundraise for the national parks, culminating in a three or four day climb of a peak over the summer.
More than $100,000 is raised annually through Climb for a Cause, thanks to dedicated climbers from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Gensler, as well as the local community. These funds benefit priority park projects like search and rescue programs, the restoration of fishers, tribal youth develop a native conservation coprs program, the terminus glacier memorial project, and so much more!
Climbers realize their dreams of climbing Washington's iconic mountains while giving back to the parks they're climbing in. Are you ready to Climb for a Cause?
