Story

Music, fun and nature connection are very important to us here at Earth in Common.

The Croft Climate Choir was started in Summer 2023, as part of a wider programme of work around nature connection and climate awareness. The choir is led by talented musician Deb Shaw, who herself creates work inspired by the sounds and rhythms of nature.

The choir has become very popular. It is a group where people benefit from reconnection with nature and with each other, with between 10-20 people meeting regularly on Leith Community Croft to sing songs broadly about nature, wildlife and climate.

The choir performed beautifully at our building launch event on the 9th September 2023 (see video), which was also a celebration of the charity’s tenth anniversary.

We are inviting both choir participants and the wider community to make donations towards the costs of delivering and hosting this joyful group.

Suggested donation per session £5/pay what you can.
