At City Catering, we run a Care Meals service for Southampton's elderly and vulnerable adults. We deliver hot, nutritious meals and whilst we are there, we stay and ensure that our customers are well, able to eat, and provide support and a friendly conversation.

During the Coronavirus/Covid-19 outbreak, and the increasing self-isolation and social distancing, we anticipate that isolation and loneliness will increase. We also expect that people will be less able to access their local amenities and have reduced family and friends support.

Therefore, we are fundraising to deliver welfare packages to ensure people can remain well supported in their own homes.

In addition to delivering meals, we would like to also offer our customers welfare packs containing household and hygiene items, such as toilet rolls, tissues, hand soap, shower gel, hand moisturiser, cleaning products, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruit and other needed, but hard to access, items.
