This year a team of adventurous superheroes will take on the dizzying National Three Peaks for CHUF (Children's Heart Unit Fund).

This challenge isn't for the faint-hearted.They'll scale 3 mountains totalling 25 miles up rocky, hilly, unforgiving terrain; reaching altitudes of over 10,000 ft, all within a 24 hour period-it's no small undertaking! Every step of they way the team will be supporting children who are facing their very own mountains. Every step and bead of sweat will help CHUF to support pioneering services that make a positive difference to Heart Heroes.

Every penny raised will help CHUF to inspire hope in the darkest moments, spread joy in long hospital visits and provide practical support to families requiring specialist treatment for their heart condition in Newcastle's Children''s Heart Unit, and across 6 other northern hospitals.
