Help us make a huge difference to children living with congenital heart disease (CHD) this Christmas.

On average around 500 babies and children have open heart surgery at Leeds every year, and each one of these heart warriors will receive a precious gift from CHSF - a Katie Bear teddy.

Each teddy costs the charity £10, so we need to raise a total of £5,000 this Christmas to ensure next years young patients are given this special keepsake.

Our Give A Bear Hug campaign will put smiles on future faces and offer cuddles for life. Your child, or someone you know, may have a Katie Bear they treasure. Katie has symbolised bravery and resilience for hundreds of young patients with CHD every year since CHSF began in 1988 - and you and your network can help us to reach our target.

Please note that any additional campaign funds raised over our £5k target, will go towards funding support workers and family grants within the hospital as well as CHSF's general work supporting our world-class heart unit, amazing patients and families so we'd still be so very grateful for your support.
