One year following our decision to decrease in-person services for the safety of our clients, volunteers, and staff in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chrysalis and our clients continue to take strides toward a world in which everyone has the opportunity to work and thrive.

Meet Paul, who came to us just one month before we closed our center doors in response to the safer-at-home orders. Fortunately, ongoing, virtual contact with his Employment Specialist connected him to resources including rent assistance and a referral to a job lead that has helped him maintain stability throughout the pandemic.

After the Great Recession of 2008, we responded to a 60% increase in the number of individuals seeking out our services and not one person was turned away. As our remote and on-site staff continue to meet our clients where they are, and as we prepare to increase in-person services once it is safe to do so, we are dedicated to ensuring that the same is true as we get through this pandemic storm together.
