Story
Christmas is a time for family. It's a time for caring, sharing and spreading love.
But for too many families across Scotland, they wont get that chance this Christmas.
This year will be even tougher as the pandemic and rising living costs continue to cause hardship, with a disproportionate impact on those who were already struggling to get by.
That's why we have launched our 9th annual Christmas Toybank appeal. Working with Women's Aid and Glasgow's No.1 Baby and Family Support Service, we have identified 2000 children and young people across Scotland who we aim to support this Christmas.
Your donations will buy new toys or gift vouchers for those who may otherwise receive nothing at Christmas.
In previous years, your generous donations have made a real difference. A mother living in a refuge was able to buy her three children Christmas gifts after being forced to leave their home and all the children's toys; a teenager being supported by Glasgow Women's Aid was able to use their gift voucher to buy an outfit for their school party; and another family was able to enjoy their first visit to Santa.
We would be enormously grateful for any support you can offer, so please donate generously and help guarantee a Christmas for children and young people across Scotland.
