Our partners within Children's Services have identified 500 families who are unlikely to be able to afford presents and a decent meal for their children on Christmas day.

Families like Jasmine's* who have suffered years of Domestic abuse at the hands of her daughter's father. Having spent three years effectively homeless and living in a domestic violence refuge Jasmine has now moved in to her own home.

The small flat isn't luxurious, she doesn't have many belongings, but it is safe and a place to call their own. She is just about getting by week to week, the cost of Christmas is a constant worry. If we can help Jasmine by supplying her with the Christmas lunch essentials she can focus on enjoying the day and making memories with her daughter.
