HabiJax families buy their homes with their own mortgage and hundreds of hours of sweat equity. They do the hard workand they deserve a hand up.
'It was a breath of fresh air for myself and my family,' says Xavier, who will be celebrating his first Christmas in a HabiJax home this year. 'A lot of weight was lifted off my shoulders.'
To celebrate the first Christmas in their new home, some Habijax members delivered a Christmas tree and spent the evening decorating the tree with the family, while rejoicing in the dream that finally became a reality.
