Chorleywood Aid for Ukraine (UK registered charity) has been supporting From Dreams to Reality (Ukraine registered charity) since the invasion of February 2022. We have shipped over 10 tons of aid to them in Brovary, near Kyiv, and financed urgent needs such as stoves and winter sleeping bags last winter.

FD2R operate from a hub in Brovary, near Kyiv, & provide clothing and bedding to arriving refugees from front line villages in the Kharkiv area, also NE of Kyiv, alongside other operations including helping orphanages, special needs children's homes, & widowed families.

One of our trustees visited their operation this year to both inspect & to ascertain priorities and future needs.

To continue operating during the coming winter & it's shorter days, alongside the power cuts which at present in July are over 12 hours per day, we wish to supply them with a generator.

Because of the proximity of their hub to other businesses, a community hall, and residential properties, they need to purchase a quiet generator at a cost of around 1,000 Euros.
