Story

Chloe and Will Forbes live in rural Perthshire, Scotland and have both been actively involved and passionate about Fieldsports for many years. They both met five years ago on a game shooting day in the Scottish Borders.

Will originally from the Black Isle, has been surrounded by gundogs and game shooting growing up, he became a gamekeeper for a short while, before doing a Farrier apprenticeship and has now run his own business for 8 years. In his spare time, Will likes to go deer stalking and compete his gundogs in trials.

Chloe originally from the Lake District has also been brought up in the countryside and rode and competed horses for many years, before turning to Fieldsports in her late teens. Chloe is fortunate enough to work in the industry, being the Project Manager for Country Sport Scotland. Chloe is passionate about deer stalking and recently completed her DSC1 and enjoys working her dogs and would like to get into fishing more.

Both leading an active lifestyle with an interest in keeping fit and healthy. Chloe is a regular runner and always wanted to do a Marathon and Will also decided to step up to the challenge! Aside from all of this, they are both massive foodies and love to cook and try new recipes for game and would like to promote the health benefits of eating game and encourage more people to give it a go!

The Country Food Trust are a food poverty charity who raise funds to provide meals to feed people in need. They distribute game based ready-meals to charities that hand out food to people in need. So far they have donated 2.8 million meals nationally to help alleviate food poverty.
