Story
We need to raise £2million to create a new state-of-the art Children's Centre at Lister Hospital.
Our NHS trust has £11 million for a new, purpose-built, two-storey centre with 20 inpatient beds,14 consulting rooms and clinical assessment and care units.

With your help, we can transform the building into a centre of excellence for children's healthcare.
Your support will create a centre designed around children, where families feel supported, staff feel valued and young patients receive the very best possible experience of care. Sustainable, digitally enabled design will ensure the centre remains adaptable and future-ready.
Together, we can create a Children’s Centre that supports not only clinical excellence, but also the emotional wellbeing, dignity and resilience of every child and family who needs it.
We want the centre to be a beautiful, welcoming space with carefully designed environments to support children and young people at every stage of development.
Younger children will have a dedicated play area and older patients will have a recreation room designed to encourage social interaction and foster a sense of normality.
Families will benefit from homely lounge areas and overnight accommodation so they can stay close to their poorly children during that worrying, and often difficult, time.
Children and young people undergoing cancer treatment, or living with immunosuppression, will have protected play spaces designed specifically for their needs. Outdoor play spaces will allow children to enjoy fresh air and the benefits of movement wherever possible.
With the building construction funded by the NHS, your kind support provides a powerful opportunity to transform it into something truly exceptional - something you can be truly proud of being part of - a centre built for the future of children's healthcare.
