For the past year, Gift of Knowledge has started its scholarship program in Bangladesh, awarding scholarship to talented but poverty stricken children of primary and secondary schools and madrasas. Many students are unable to go through education because of poverty and work instead, GOK intend to continue supporting the seekers of knowledge in the hope that they will one day give back to the community for the greater good.

GOK's scholarship programme is open to all in any rural area in Bangladesh. GOK will work in partnership with the local authority, and will take an area based-approach, such as: Post Office, Union or Ward, GOK will endeavour to reach out to all the schools and authorised educational establishments within a particular locality. GOK does this by establishing contact with the local authority i.e. the local chairman and then establish contact with local schools and madrasas and find students deserving of the scholarship.
