Through the dedication of our staff and the support of our members, donors, volunteers, and program participants, this year has been an incredible year of impact for the YMCA of Greater Louisville. To continue this trend of success, we need the support of people as eager as we are to help everyone in our community grow healthy in spirit, mind, and body. Below are just a few of our most impactful programs over the past year:
- 328 students participated in the YMCA Black Achievers program
- Chestnut Street YMCA Men's Supportive Housing Program continues to provide permanent housing for 48 individuals
- 65 cancer survivors participated in LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program
- 858 kids learned life-saving skills in Safety Around Water
- YMCA Safe Place Shelter House and the Youth Development Center served a combined 473 youth in crisis and homeless young adults
- 977 kids attended Camp Piomingo
- Over 4,000 families and individuals received YMCA memberships through our financial assistance programs
