The Chesham Arms is a pub at the heart of its community. Hackney Giving is the borough's local giving fund - supporting local community groups to help residents at times of need.

By working with Hackney Giving, the Chesham Arms and its customers can support not-for-profit organisations locally that are working to make people’s lives better. The groups Hackney Giving funds are grassroots and likely to be beyond the reach of an individual donor. Those which are doing really great work but which you might never hear of.

Our work centres around improving health and wellbeing, alleviating poverty and bringing people together. When we’re making grants, we aim to do it in the fairest possible way, funding a diverse range of communities, reflecting our mission to work for a fairer society.

The programme is part of Hackney CVS, an organisation that has been championing local charities for over 25 years.
