Story
In Charlie's words:
'In 2020, I was diagnosed with Sarcoma - a particularly aggressive cancer. I had major surgery on my right leg not knowing I would ever walk or run again and since then the battle has continued with surgery on both of my lungs. I have been in and out of hospital pretty constantly but have received excellent treatment from the NHS.
Sarcoma UK is am amazing, but small, charity that supports people like me on their distressing journey with this awful disease. Not only does it offer invaluable help and advice but also funds essential research in the global fight to find a cure for this cancer. Your donation will make a BIG difference to these guys!'
Sadly, in August 2023 Charlie passed away from Spindle Cell Sarcoma, an ultra-rare type of sarcoma. Charlie's friends and family have been continuing Charlie's never give up attitude helping the sarcoma and ultra-rare sarcoma community.
