As an organization with more than a century of experience in caring for our community, the Valley of the Sun YMCA responds quickly to these challenges; creatively expanding our programs to meet our community when, where and how we are needed most.

At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

The Chandler/Gilbert Family YMCA does not turn anybody away for an inability to pay for YMCA programs such as childcare, early learning, and youth sports.

For the 2,000 families who live below the poverty level within the Chandler community, these scholarships are vital to supporting their family.

Your support will ensure all families have access to high quality programs that fit within their financial budget.

FOR HEALTHY LIVING

The Chandler/Gilbert Family YMCA provides free water safety education for youth and their caregivers.

In Maricopa County, 18 children tragically lost their lives to drowning in 2024, all of which were preventable.

With your support, our water safety initiative can reduce drowning related incidents through awareness, education, and action.

FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Chandler/Gilbert Family YMCA i-Learn program is a partnership with Chandler Unified School District to provide students with extra support and flexible hours to complete their education.

For the over 20,000 individuals in this community with no high school diploma, a program like i-Learn can be life changing.

Your support will provide students with a YMCA membership and a place of belonging and support while completing their education.
