Story
Wow! Challengers have recruited an AMAZING team of runners to take on the most epic and iconic challenge of the year - the TCS London Marathon! Our team will be running the 26.2 miles on Sunday 2nd October 2022, and I hope you will join us in cheering on Team Orange every step of the way!
At Challengers, we provide play and leisure activities for disabled children and young people aged 2-18 across the South East. At our schemes, disabled young people can make friends and try new activities in a safe, fun and fully inclusive environment! Our mission is a world where all children and young people can play together freely!
Challengers not only benefits the children and young people that attend our schemes but also has a monumental impact on their families, allowing parents and carers vital respite from the demands of caring for a disabled young person.
Challengers has kept our family's mental and physical health from tipping over the edge. We feel safe in the knowledge that there is somewhere he can go and do activities he will enjoy and we can have time for ourselves and the rest of the family. Not just respite but an adventure for him, with folk who understand his needs and are prepared to go the extra mile to meet them. - Challengers Parent.
