Story
The 31-Day Challenge for Change is a fundraising drive led by us - the MRCI team and community.
Join us and take on your own 31-day personal daily challenge this July and help empower migrant workers to challenge exploitation, racism and injustice.
What is MRCI?
From the start, MRCI's work has been led by the people affected by the very issues we fight against supported by countless allies from across Ireland and beyond.
MRCI empowers workers to challenge exploitation at the hand of their employers, documents racism on our streets and at our borders, has won landmark victories for domestic workers, victims of forced labour, students, undocumented workers, families, and young people, all to fight for a more open, equal and diverse society.
The money you raise will help us to keep:
1. Supporting people to access their rights through our Drop-In Centre
2. Campaigning with undocumented people to get their papers
3. Combating the exploitation of agri-food workers and so much more!
MRCI believes that everyone should be able to move and work in safety and with dignity. The work in the coming months and years could shape the face of migration and work in Ireland for generations. With a focus on collective action, organisation, and innovation, we can build stronger communities, better workplaces, and a fairer, more just society for all.
We need your help.
Are you ready to join us?
We are putting on our running shoes, getting on our bikes, and getting our groove on every day for the month of July.
Join us by doing 5k-a-Day; cycling 10k-a-day; dancing; baking; or try yoga for the first time! Choose any activity to challenge yourself everyday for a month and help us raise funds for this awesome organisation.
Whether you take on this challenge or make a donation you will be directly supporting migrant workers in unregulated and precarious sectors to challenge low pay, reform poor working conditions, and regularise their status.
Thank you,
MRCI team and community.
