Story
Take on Challenge 33 to raise valuable funds to support our work with young people.
Here's how you can get involved.
Pick a challenge
With the help of young people, we have set 33 challenges for you to choose from.
They are a mixture of creative, wellbeing and physical challenges. Some you can do on your own, others you can take on with your friends or family, at school, in community groups or in workplaces. There is something for everyone.
So, pick a challenge from the list on our website , or, if you'd prefer, create your own. If you're feeling brave, then you could take on multiple challenges.
Have fun
Challenge 33 is not just about raising money, it is about fun, creativity, and wellbeing so, whatever challenge you set yourself, we encourage you to be inspired, enjoy the challenge, and get something positive from the experience.
When you take on your challenge please share your story with us; tag us in your photos, videos and updates using the hashtag #Challenge33.
Make a difference
All funds raised through Challenge 33 will be extremely valuable in making a difference to the lives of young people. Whatever you can raise will be greatly appreciated.
The easiest way to fundraise for Centre 33 is to set up a fundraising page on JustGiving. This will allow you to collect sponsorship and Gift Aid which will be automatically transferred to Centre 33. Details of how to do this can be found in the fundraising pack which you can download here .
Alternatively, if you would prefer, you can make a donation to Centre 33 for your participation in Challenge 33.
Whatever challenge you take on, we thank you for your support and look forward to hearing your stories.
About Centre 33
Centre 33 supports young people up to the age of 25 across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Each year we work directly with over 2,500 young people and reach many more. We work with young people who are dealing with mental health difficulties, facing problems at home or in their relationships, managing complex caring needs, are homeless, struggling to find work or seeking advice and support.
Young people can talk to us about anything - mental health, housing, homelessness, employment, education, finances, sexual health, caring responsibilities and much more. They may have complex needs and may not know what they need to talk to us about, whatever it is we will help them to work it out and then do all we can to support them holistically with their practical issues and emotional needs.
It has been so helpful to talk to someone. I feel more at peace with myself.
The need for our services from young people is still growing and this demand often exceeds our capacity. We know that the right help at the right time can prevent problems escalating.
