19 September 2023 marks 25 years since Karen lost her battle with chronic myeloid leukaemia
1st June 2024 will mark 25 years since the KMMT became a registered charity.
The Karen Morris Memorial Trust is marking these significant anniversaries with a major fundraising campaign: CHALLENGE 25 FOR KAREN. We do hope you will wish to honour Karen’s memory and support the charity set up to continue her initiative either with your own fundraising activity or with a donation. The choice of challenge is yours! Do it on your own, as a family or with a group of friends … and have fun!
To date we have raised over £3,500,000 and are currently funding four Karen's Homes for leukaemia patients and their families (at Hammersmith Hospital, Addenbrooke's in Cambridge, the Churchill in Oxford and the Queen Elizabeth in Birmingham) with the fifth scheduled to open at the Derriford in Plymouth in late 2024. With your help by taking on a challenge or sponsoring someone who is you are ensuring that Karen's legacy continues to ease the emotional pain of a leukaemia diagnosis for patients and their loved ones for many many years to come.
