Story
Whether you set your sights on 1 big challenge, 3 smaller challenges or 0 and donate in lieu, The Meath Challenge 1:3:0 needs you!
2022 marks 130 years of being a safe and happy home for adults who live with complex epilepsy and disabilities, please take on Challenge 1:3:0 to help us sustain our services for another 130 years!
The money you raise through Challenge 1:3:0 will help us to bridge the increasing funding gap between what we receive in statutory funding and what we need to provide the following unfunded, yet vital services: Nurse Practitioner, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy , Complimentary Therapist and Skills Centre Activity Sessions. Just do a big 0 and donate! If time is tight but you want to make a difference, simply support us by making a donation, any amount will make a positive difference to the people we support. If you are a UK tax payer you can increase your donation by 25% by adding gift aid.
Challenge 1:3:0 at The Meath
The challenge is on at The Meath! Resident Regan is being supported to completed 130 laps of The Meath grounds while Philippa is clocking up 130 laps in the local swimming pool. These stretching targets are huge goals for both and we are very proud to support them!
Staff have been just as busy. Michelle, Head of Risk Assurance has collected 130 donated raffle prizes, the proceeds of which will fund a fabulous 130th anniversary party for the people we support.
Meanwhile support workers Lisa and Sharon have knitted a blanket which is comprised of 130 squares. The prized blanket will be raffled, and the proceeds will benefit the people we support.
Thank you
