Story
At Chab Dai we work to address modern slavery and human trafficking in Cambodia and beyond.
Our Vision: We see a world where communities live in dignity, harmony, and freedom.
Our Mission: We seek to end all forms of abuse and modern slavery globally by building a movement to empower communities, to strengthen systems, and to restore justice and wellbeing with survivors.
Your support will contribute directly to our programmes of Community Empowerment, Survivor Restoration, System Strengthening and Momentum Building.
Breaking the cycle of modern slavery begins in local communities. We support and empower Community Heroes to raise awareness and care for their neighbours, helping them reach out to local authorities and aid organisations when they face exploitation or trauma.
We believe that modern slavery survivors should feel empowered to raise their voices and identify their own needs. Our Case Support Team works to bring modern slavery survivors home, and our Legal Team offers free legal support. We also train counselors and social workers in conflict resolution, supervision and more.
We inform and assist local authorities and government bodies, helping them support those at risk. Our Advocacy Project trains officials to respond appropriately to cases of modern slavery, while providing recommendations at a national level to help Cambodians who have been trafficked across borders.
Ending modern slavery takes people and organisations who are willing to spread knowledge and information, share skills and resources, and promote best practices. We build momentum within the anti-modern-slavery movement by facilitating education, training and networking opportunities.
