Story

Approximately 2,400 children and young people (up to and including the age of 18) in the UK are diagnosed with cancer each year. We are passionate about helping all of these families along this difficult journey.

Fundraisers from our Meon Vale Spring Classic 2021 will be helping children just like 9 year old Jamie:

Jamie was born with a brain tumour, he underwent 3 surgeries, 16 months of gruelling chemotherapy and 30 sessions of radiotherapy. CFC awarded Jamie a specially adapted trike. A message we received from Mum says "Cycling is awesome! Jamie was very weak after all of his treatment and is now severely sight and hearing impaired. His trike has been so good for him and integral in his continued recovery and self-confidence. It turns a few heads too! Jamie recently completed 26 laps of his cul-de-sac on his trike for you raising £50, anyway, it wasn't much but just know how grateful we are. You and your supporters do a wonderful thing."

Thank you for taking part in our event and helping us to support more children just like Jamie to get pedalling on the road to recovery.
