Story

November 6 marked 136 years since the formation of our great Club. On that day at St Mary’s Church in the Calton, Brother Walfrid and his fellow Founding Fathers made a commitment to help those most in need.

Celtic FC Foundation - the Club’s charitable arm - have now officially launched our 2023 Christmas Appeal. The Club has once again kicked-off the campaign with a wonderful donation of £10,000, as we ask you to join us in helping to Light Up Someone’s Christmas this festive season.

Although ordinarily a time of joy for most of us, for those facing hardship in their lives, this can often become one of the most stressful and challenging times of the year.

We hope this year’s Appeal will bring comfort, and light up the lives of many who would otherwise struggle over the festive period.

This includes local families facing poverty, so they can enjoy the type of Christmas that many of us take for granted.

As well as pensioners, women and children in refuge, the homeless community and refugees, as well as a host of others.

The generosity and compassion of the Celtic support is truly unsurpassed and we simply cannot make a difference to the lives of so many without you.

Together, we can Light Up Someone’s Christmas this festive season.

Thank you for your magnificent support.
