Story

You're showing your support to families like Seren's

"Like all children with cancer, Seren has good days and bad days. Sometimes the good days are because of something very simple, like no sickness, the strength to eat a small amount or just being well enough to go outside. The bad days are far more complicated. During those dark times of pain and tears, isolation and anxiety, it feels like the only thing keeping you holding on is the dream that someone, somewhere, with funding for the right research project, will one day end this awful disease so that no more children have to suffer. CCLG help us to be part of making that dream a reality" - Kate, Seren's mum.

Team CCLG in the Great North Run 2021

Each year in the UK, there are over 1,800 children like Seren who are given the devastating news they have cancer. One in five children do not survive their disease.

By supporting a #teamCCLG runner today, as they prepare for the Great North Run 2021, you'll be helping to fund world-class research to shape a future where all children and young people with cancer survive and live long, healthy and independent lives.
