Story
ABOUT THE EVENT: Walk for a Cure is a national initiative held during Children's Cardiomyopathy Awareness Month in September that raises awareness of pediatric cardiomyopathy, a chronic and potentially life-threatening heart disease. Since 2015, families from across the U.S., have come together to walk in honor of children with cardiomyopathy.
Team CCF is going virtual this September to keep our families and friends safe. Our walk may be different this year, but our mission is the same. Join Team CCF and other spirited walk teams throughout the month of September to raise funds for CCF's Family Assistance Program and family support services.
ABOUT CCF : The Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) is a national 501(c)(3) organization focused on accelerating the search for causes and cures for pediatric cardiomyopathy. CCF was started in 2002 by an affected family determined to call attention to a poorly understood heart disease. Since then, CCF has grown into a global community of families, physicians, and scientists dedicated to improving diagnosis, treatments, and quality of life for children with cardiomyopathy. CCF is consistently rated as a top non-profit by America's leading charity evaluators GreatNonprofits, CharityNavigator, and GuideStar.
