It Takes a Team!
Walk for a Cure is a national initiative held during Children's Cardiomyopathy Awareness Month in September to raise awareness of pediatric cardiomyopathy, a chronic and potentially life-threatening heard disease. Since 2015, families across the U.S. come together to walk in honor or children with cardiomyopathy. Join Team CCF and other spirited walk teams as they walk in-person or virtually to raise awareness and funds for CCF's family support services.
The Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) is a national 501(c)(3) organization focused on accelerating the search for causes and cures for pediatric cardiomyopathy. CCF was started in 2002 by a parent who was determined to call attention to a poorly understood heart disease. Since then, CCF has grown into a global community of families, physicians, and scientists dedicated to improving diagnosis, treatments, and quality of life for children with cardiomyopathy. CCF is consistently rated as a top non-profit by America's leading charity evaluators GreatNonprofits, CharityNavigator, and GuideStar.
