Story

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer and there are currently estimated to be over 900,000 people living with the condition in the UK today.

Alzheimer's Society is working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives by providing help to those living with dementia today and giving hope for the future.

CBRE are proud to be making a difference by funding three vital areas of Alzheimer's Society’s work which will support people living with dementia, and their loved ones, now and for generations to come:

* Alzheimer’s Society and Citizen’s Advice Benefits Service – supporting families to access vital benefits and financial support as they face spiralling care costs.

* Vital support helplines including Companion Calls, which offer a vital lifeline to help reduce loneliness, and the Dementia Support Line to provide urgent advice and information from the moment a person is diagnosed.

* The Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion Fund - helping to give families of all backgrounds the tools they need now to cope with their dementia diagnosis, while also creating a more inclusive future for new generations facing dementia.

If you set up a new fundraising page, please contact our CBRE partnership team on CBRE@alzheimers.org.uk and let them know! They can also help with fundraising information, materials and support.
