Story
At CB Plus, we recognise the critical need to combat digital poverty head-on. Since the lockdown, we have been working to improve access to technology through our Digital Inclusion Project. Our partnership with 4WaySolutions and other corporate partners has enabled us to collect and distribute unused tech and digital resources to those in need, completely free of charge. But now we need your help!
Over the past year, we have donated Chromebooks to local schools in need. Recently, we visited Moss Hall Infant School to donate 30 Chromebooks to support their students' educational needs. The excitement from the students was heartwarming; as one Year 1 pupil shared, “I love learning about how to use the laptop so I can go on it at home without my mummy helping me.” Another student added, “I love using the Chromebook because I learn new things.” The gratitude from both students and staff was truly uplifting.
We also donated 30 Chromebooks to Deansbrook Junior School, where many children benefiting from these donations come from low-income families. The school loans out Chromebooks so students can complete their homework—whether it’s Mathletics, reading tests, or other activities. The devices are also essential for researching topics relevant to their school curriculum. With a large number of children in need, we are pleased to be able to help.
To continue supporting these schools and students, we need help to provide Chromebooks and laptop chargers. Your generous donation will help us provide these essential items, ensuring that students can make the most of the Chromebooks.
Thank you for helping us bridge the digital divide and support education in our community!
