Given the special needs of our community, as well as the limitations of our current building (built in the 1950s), we need a new facility that is safe, secure, and promotes the well-being of our students.

The two-story, 36,300-square-foot building will be located on two acres on the south side of Buchanan Street NE in the District of Columbia. The facility will be ADA compliant, provide a safe and secure environment and promote the overall well-being of young people.

The building will serve up to 50 students in the school, The child development center also will have accommodation for up to 50 children.

While construction is under way, the original school on the property will continue to be used. Upon completion of the center, the old school will be demolished and a townhome community, developed by The Concordia Group, will be built.
