The Cathedral Choirs' Emergency Fund, which raised £1million from over 3,000 supporters, closed in December 2020 so that grants could be awarded to cathedral choirs where the need is greatest. However, there is still more to do. Our survey has shown that many choral foundations across the UK will struggle to survive in 2021 without additional financial support.

The Cathedral Music Trust is committed to raising further funds in 2021 and beyond to ensure our precious musical tradition is preserved and enhanced for generations to come.
