Story

We're taking on the challenge of cycling from London to Amsterdam, two of the most iconic capital cities in the world to raise funds for Parkinson's research. We'll ride through four countries, cover over 480 km and climb over 2200 metres elevation in just three days, and we need your help to find a cure.

The Castel Office2Office ride is collecting funds for Cure Parkinson's because the disease is affecting a higher proportion of people and at a younger age than ever before.

- It is the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world.

- There are 145,000 people living with Parkinson's in the UK, and up to 10 million worldwide.

- Every hour in the UK two people are diagnosed with Parkinson's.

- The lifetime chance of developing Parkinson's is 1 in 37.

- 5% of people diagnosed are under 40, 15% under 50.

- But by the time of diagnosis over 50% of a persons dopamine supply will have been lost.

- Cure Parkinson's are involved with 35% of all research involved in slowing, stopping and reversing Parkinson's.

Thank you for your support.
