Story

Join your local Police Department as they support the Child Advocacy Center of Carroll County. Beards for Bucks is a fun and easy way to support law enforcement and your local CAC! During the month of October, male law enforcement officers are allowed and encouraged to grow facial hair in an effort to raise funds for our local Child Advocacy Center. The female officers join in too by going Blue for Bucks and showing their support with blue hair or nails for the month.

The CACCC is a non-profit organization that works with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to aid in the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. Helping child victims of physical and sexual abuse and their families requires an approach that addresses the physical, emotional and legal dimensions of abuse. The Center works in partnership with all the necessary agencies and specialists to coordinate a plan of action and to provide high-quality, specialized services for abused children and their families. The Center is open to serve all children in Carroll County out of our main office in Wolfeboro and our auxiliary location in Conway. The money we raise helps support the important work we do to help children and families in our community.
