Ever since being chartered in 1950 the Rotary Club of Lyme Regis has made a special Christmas Collection in Broad Street Lyme Regis, and for the past 62 years has led the singing of "Carols Round the Christmas Tree" at the Bell Cliff, attended by hundreds of local people and visitors and supported, as always, by the Lyme Regis Town Band. Over this period we have raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities, the majority of which are intimately associated with children. This year its Julia's House again. This Dorset based Children's Hospice focusses on helping children with life limiting conditions, and their families.
