Just outside of Stellenbosch, the heart of the South African wine industry, 4 out of 5 children go hungry everyday🍴 👧🏾👦🏾

In 2015, Naked Wines winemaker Carmen Stevens and some local mums decided to do something about it.

They started up a soup kitchen serving soup to 300 hungry kids. And when the money and food ran out, the Naked Wines customers stepped in, raising enough funds to feed them for a whole year.

Over the years that soup kitchen has grown into a network of school and community kitchens which has fed 38 million nutritious meals to kids who would otherwise have gone hungry.

Last year our community raised a staggering £468,883 to put meals on the table for over 25,000 hungry children. But the money will run out soon and we need to top up their funds for another year.
