Carers Link is the only organisation in East Dunbartonshire dedicated to carers and supports nearly 1500 carers each year by providing information, advocacy, courses, workshops, groups and a listening ear.

We want carers to have the best possible quality of life, both while they are caring for someone and if their caring role ends.

We support carers of all ages, and younger carers (8 to 25) get specialised support from our Linked Up service to help them cope with life at home, at school, in further and higher education and with employment skills.

No matter who you are or who you care for, Carers Link is here to support you.

Walk With Us will bring people together whilst they walk, have fun and raise funds to support our work.

This year we are delighted to partner our event with the Kirkintilloch Canal Festival.

There are two routes to choose from depending on age and ability:
Route 1 (approx 13 miles): Starts in Milngavie and ends in Kirkintilloch, walking via Strathblane, Lennoxtown and Milton of Campsie.
Registration begins at 10.30 am and the walk starts at 11am.

Route 2 (approx 4 miles): This is a shorter, family friendly walk starting at Bishopbriggs ending in Kirkintilloch.
Registration begins at 1pm and the walk starts at 1.30pm.

All routes will meet at the finish in Kirkintilloch to enjoy a celebration of their efforts and soak up the atmosphere during the Kirkintilloch Canal Festival.
