Story
Nothing - not even the rain - was going to stop our second Firewalk on October 9th 2021 but sadly Covid-19 regulations did! We have had to cancel the event at short notice and apologise to everyone involved. However, like a phoenix rising from the ashes (pun intended) we will be back to do it again in just a few weeks time and before the end of November 21.
The global pandemic has had a huge impact on all of us, so perhaps it was to be expected that the firewalk would also be affected. However, the Firewalk ceremony can be a symbolic rite of passage as we walk towards new beginnings and hopefully even more will join with us once a new date is confirmed.
We would like to thank all our walkers, their supporters and all the donors who are supporting both Carers Link and our friends at Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (SFAD) in partnership with Celtic Fire and Mugdock Country Park.
