The homeless are some of the most vulnerable and socially excluded people in society. More than 8,000 people slept rough on London's streets during 2018/19 (the this has doubled in the last seven years). With the cold winter months looming, we are putting together and handing out 'survival backpacks' to provide an immediate difference in someones life. Last year we distributed 250 backpacks to our local homeless community. This year we have scaled up again and will be putting together 350 backpacks, ready for distribution in the last week of December, to bring a little Christmas cheer to Londons homeless. Each backpack costs in the region of £50, so your donation makes a huge difference.
