Story
For most people, Christmas is spent with family and friends. Unfortunately, it is a sad reality that many Care Experienced people spend Christmas Day on their own; in flats, B&Bs and hostels. It can be a very lonely and upsetting time; especially when it seems like everyone else is celebrating with loved ones.
But it doesnt have to be that way.
When we eventually arrived I was really nervous. As soon as I walked in the door though, I knew it was going to be amazing. Everyone was laughing and cuddling. Your donation will help us bring love and joy on Christmas day.
With your support, we can provide a Care Family dinner on Christmas Day!
Since 2014, with the support of volunteers and donations, Who Cares? Scotland has provided a Christmas Day dinner for Care Experienced people. This year is no different.
Additionally, we will be sending over 2,500 Christmas cards to Care Experienced people in Scotland, ensuring they receive at least one card this year. We really need your help to do this.
Please donate and help us make Christmas special for our Care Family. Any funds raised over and above what we need for Christmas Dinner, will contribute towards our calendar of events for Care Experienced people, throughout the year.
