Where the Money Goes
The funds you raise will offer support and services for children facing cancer and their families. We work to improve the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of the entire family battling pediatric cancer. Camp Happy Days programs provides direct assistance and cost free programs to South Carolina's pediatric cancer patients who desperately need it!
Important Facts
September was designated National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to bring awareness to childhood cancer, which remains the leading cause of death by disease among children under the age of 15 in the United States. Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer and the average age of diagnosis is 6. Cancer affects all ethnic, gender, and socio-economic groups and more than 40,000 children undergo treatment for cancer each year.
This September as we take the time to recognize the children and families affected by childhood cancer we take comfort in the fact that until there is a cure for cancer there is Camp Happy Days!
What cancer takes away Camp Happy Day's gives back; through our Family Weekend, Doodlebug, week long Camp and MORE kids get to be kids again and have fun.
Your support is needed, start fundraising on your own and/or form a team today!
