Story
"Roundup River Ranch allows children the opportunity to demonstrate that they are not bound by their illness. It's a place where a child has the freedom to be 'just a kid,' and that is something truly magical." -- Idolina Sutton, Volunteer
This year, Bridge of Life is partnering with Roundup River Ranch in Gypsum, Colorado by providing volunteers to welcome back campers and their families to in-person camp sessions! We placed general practitioners, nurses, specialists, and non-clinical volunteers in positions at RRR, a medical camp for children.
Volunteers for camp are life-changing superheroes who are providing medical care to children with serious illnesses and life-altering illnesses so they can experience fun, exciting activities at a traditional summer camp. AND, all sessions are free to campers and their families!
"Children with chronic illness deserve to enjoy carefree fun, and Roundup River Ranch provides just that! My camp experience was incredible...meeting the amazing campers, ranch staff and teammates from around the country was, by far, the best and most rewarding part." - Elizabeth Peck, Volunteer
Camp brings everyone together in all kinds of remarkable, magical, life-changing ways! In 2022, TOGETHER IS OUR HAPPY PLACE is the theme of camp. The very act of being there for one another is what creates each campers happy place.
Please come together with your support for Bridge of Life and our volunteers and be a part of kids getting back to the fun of being a child!
