Dr Eimear Byrne's Cambridge Half Marathon

Organised by The Cameron Fund

I have entered the Cambridge Half Marathon again this year, but, stepping out of my comfort zone, I would like to raise awareness of, and funds for, The Cameron Fund. If you're looking for an end of year charity to donate to, then look no further.

Story

I am a portfolio GP in Cambridge with lived experience of underemployment and the very real worry of paying bills and putting food on the table for my family.

Fortunately I haven't had to approach The Cameron Fund, but am grateful they exist to support peer GPs at their most worrying and financially vulnerable time.

I have entered the Cambridge Half Marathon again this year, but, stepping out of my comfort zone, I would like to raise awareness of, and funds for, The Cameron Fund.

If you're looking for an end of year charity to donate to, then look no further: you will directly help your GP peers to continue to access essential support in times of crisis (please Gift Aid that donation).

All donations will go directly to The Cameron Fund as I have paid my own Half Marathon entry and for the advertising kit.

Thanks for anything you can give to support this wonderful charity, and, if you are in Cambridge on Sunday 9th March, I'd love a shoutout along the course.
