Fulbourn school children will work as a team to clock up enough miles to reach Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA). Thats 3,266 miles! The target can be reached by walking/running/biking/scooting/swimming. The children will work towards some of the miles at school but we would love to see them carry on that great work outside of school! Walking to and from school can all count towards the mileage.

To encourage the children on their quest it would be great if friends and family could sponsor their efforts and this will help to raise funds for our school Pond and Allotment Project. We all know how much being outside benefits our children. The Pond and Allotment areas became very overgrown as they were inaccessible during the schools building work and renovations. We aim to make these areas into an exciting opportunity for fun and learning where children can grow their own plants and vegetables and explore wildlife with activities such as pond dipping.
