From the earliest days of the pandemic, the Central Arkansas Library System has stepped up to maintain services. Whether community members needed meals or a math tutor for their kids, help applying for a job, resources for launching a business, or access to an excellent book. CALS has been here.

Now, you can be there for CALS by making a gift to the Central Arkansas Library System Foundation on or before Giving Tuesday (November 29). To donate by check or support CALS in other ways, please visit CALS.org.

Your gift will help CALS stay strong and resilient. You will help us:

Purchase books, including audiobooks, large-print titles, bestsellers, and reference works.

Maintain programs like the Rock It! Lab for new entrepreneurs, the Encyclopedia of Arkansas, the Six Bridges Book Festival, Summer Reading Club, and Count Up, free math tutoring program.

Connect patrons in need with licensed social workers and access to public transportation.

Provide thousands of free meals to children from our library branches.
