Story
Covid-19 has meant that meaningful in-person interactions have been extremely limited. Inevitably this has led to increased loneliness, social isolation and feeling unsafe. For people with learning disabilities and/or autism and their families, it has been particularly challenging. They have become even more secluded than prior to the pandemic.
Inspired by the government's roadmap out of lockdown, we are raising money for developing Centre 404's garden and purchasing toys and equipment for outdoor activities for our service users and community to enjoy, allowing us to come together in a safe and fun environment.
Youth Group at Centre 404: "The garden is a special place for us. We plant and play in it; we relax and hang out in it. We would like to plant herbs and colourful flowers that smell amazing and look vibrant! We would like to have rose arches and bird tables with fountains, wind charms and new toys that will make play time special."
Please support us in making our garden even more special by donating.
