Welcome to the Busking for Become Campaign!

Dear Fellow Musician,

I would love you to join me in this pioneering National Campaign to raise funds for and awareness of BECOME, the registered charity for children in care and young care leavers.

The charity supports vulnerable children in the care system to help them fulfil their potential. In the UK there are ~100,000 children in care as a result of family circumstances through no fault of their own. Each year ~10,000 are turfed out at the age of 18 and have to fend for themselves.

Our interpretation of busking is very broad and potentially covers any sponsored musical performance in any location. So why not join us?

How does it work? Its easy;

1. Click the Start Fundraising button above (its orange!)

2. Click the Doing your own thing button (its a light bulb)

3. Select Event type => Choose something else from dropdown

4. Enter your Event name => Busking for BECOME or you choice

5. Leave Event date blank (its optional)

6. Choose a JustGiving web address => Your choice

7. Click Yes, my page can claim GiftAid button

8. 8. Visit your new page & edit it (set up a Team if you're in a band)

9. Email or message friends, family & colleagues to sponsor you

10. Perform your chosen gig(s)!
