Burglars have broken into our support centre and have carried out damage IRO £60k
They have damaged fixtures and fittings- ripped doors off hinges damage desks, laptops, keyboards monitors, fan heaters, Therapy beds the list goes on.
They’ve broken windows and even floorboards, ripped plasterboard from the walls and broken through our roof right through and out of the roof tiles.
They have contaminated food for our kindness kits, destroyed toiletries and cleaning products. They have destroyed clothes, gift sets, wine, spirits , chocolates, toys, jewellery, and much more, donated to us for our fundraising.
They have destroyed wigs mastectomy wear and prosthesis that we would pass on to our service users.
They have damaged our mascot costumes, pop up banners and publicity materials.
They have trashed toys that we collect throughout the year to distribute at Christmas to children affected by cancer.
They have destroyed our catering equipment that we use to provide food to people and families struggling to feed themselves in the current economic crisis.
They have trashed our display resources for delivering educational awareness in the community.
They have trashed information leaflets contact information sheets, stationary office equipment, craft resources,
They damaged our fire alarm, our IT system our telephones, carpets, flooring, paintwork, desks, storage cabinets, our fire exit door, roller blinds,
For the first time in almost 16 years we have had to close to our service users. Even covid didn’t cause that!
We need to get up and running as soon as possible. Please help if you can.
