The first thing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did after migrating to Madinah was, build a masjid.
In the face of extreme poverty, Masjid provides a safe haven for millions of people across Africa, Pakistan & Azad Kashmir. Some of the benefits of having Mosques in poor communities include:
Its a safe place to worship Allah (SWT)
Provides access to free Islamic education,
Communal meals for the poor & needy throughout the year,
Sponsorship programme for widows & orphans.
Mosques built by U4H are acting as centres for learning & support.
